Apple Betty

Its an oldie but a goodie! Apple Betty is so easy to make a fab low calorie dessert. This recipe easily makes between 4 and 6 portions.


  • 2 Apples, peeled and sliced
  • 4 Eggs
  • 5tbsp Fat free yogurt
  • 1tbsp flavouring (I used orange essence)
  • 1tbsp sweetner
  • Sprinkle of cinnamon


Lay sliced apple pieces in a oven proof dish. Whisk together yogurt, eggs, sweetner and flavouring and pour over apples. Sprinkle over cinnamon and bake in oven (190c) for aprox 45 minutes until set.
