Healthy Chips

Do you love chips and feel deprived when on a 'diet?' One of our favourite meals is chips, chips and more chips! Let me show you how to make them healthy style

You will need approximately 5 small to medium sized potatoes to serve 2 adults.









No need to peel, cut into chips











Add to pan, cover with cold water and bring to boil. Once boiling turn down heat and simmer for aprox 5 minutes.









Drain water and leave to sit in colander for a couple of minutes



Spray oil onto a tray











Add chips and spray with more spray oil











Pop in a hot oven and bake until brown and crispy - approximately half hour. Half way through cooking time remove from oven and toss chips. Spray more oil if required. Different ovens will take different amount of times.









TIP: Experiment with flavours, how about sprinkling Cajun spice or paprika on the chips before you cook them. Or making them into wedges or rounds instead of chips!
