I live with Paul and my son in Staffordshire. Last September during the pandemic I decided to have change of career. I was a Slimming World consultant which was a job I greatly loved but unfortunately Covid19 made things very difficult so I made the decision to try something new. I've always loved creating and have been designing personalised prints & making jewellery for family friends for years. I thought could I earn from a hobby? Update in April 2022! Ive decided to use my 12 years of experience within the weight loss industry and launch online 121 weight loss journey counselling sessions. It's going fab and I absolutely love it. I joined a Facebook 5 day Happy Side Hustle challenge with the lovely Julie Begbie and she said do what gives you joy! Well making things gives me joy so Elegantia Gifts was born & and an Etsy shop opened. I now create gorgeous personalised handstamped jewellery, keyrings and gifts. I work from home and my spare bedroom is now a gorgeous office/studio. I adore being creative and playing with new designs. It really does give me joy.
Paul my partner is a full time MOT tester and part time hobbiest carpenter. He is so creative and makes just the most stunning handcrafted wooden items - tealight holders, bottle openers, key hooks, garden hearts and more all from different woods and using some really cool techniques such as charring the wood to give a wonderful black effect. We decided to add some of the wooden items to my online shop and its been fantastic.
